□ Customs Border Control Training Institute (CBCTI) of the Korea Customs Service signed a general cooperation agreement with the Azerbaijan Customs Academy for mutual cooperation and held a signing ceremony on December 17.
□ This agreement is signed to share training programs and promote exchanges in academic training and organizational management areas between the two countries, following the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and Azerbaijan regarding Cooperation and Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters." Considering the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the ceremony will be held online.
□ The institute is an "educational institution leading the future of customs administration" and operates various international training programs for overseas Customs officials as well as domestic Customs officials.
□ Ms. Cho Eun-jung (Director General of CBCTI) said, "With our mutual cooperation, I hope that the two organizations will continue to work together more closely and attentively to achieve common goals."
